Terms of Use for Tourism and Hospitality Courses

These terms govern the use of our further education offerings in the field of tourism and hospitality. They define the rights and obligations of all parties involved.

1. Scope and Provider

These terms of use apply to all courses, workshops, and further education programs offered by Waterfront Darwin City GmbH (hereinafter "Provider") in the field of tourism and hospitality. The provider is based at Heinz-Peter-Hecht-Ring 7a and can be reached at the email address info@waterfrontdarwincity.com.

The courses are aimed at professionals and beginners who wish to deepen their knowledge in the tourism and hospitality industry. Participation requires prior registration and acceptance of these terms.

2. Scope of Services and Course Content

The provider offers digital and/or in-person courses for professional development in the areas of tourism and hospitality. The specific content, scope, and duration of the courses are described in detail on the respective course page prior to booking.

The courses include, among other things, modules on gastronomy management, travel planning, customer communication, and sustainable development in tourism. The provider strives to continuously update the content but assumes no guarantee for the completeness or professional suitability of the imparted knowledge in individual cases.

3. Responsibilities of Participants

The participant is responsible for providing the necessary technical equipment (for online courses) as well as for adhering to the course times and rules. Passing on access data to third parties is not permitted.

The participant undertakes not to reproduce, publish, or commercially use the course content without the written consent of the provider. In the event of violations, the provider reserves the right to take legal action.

4. Limitation of Liability

The provider is fully liable for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health, as well as for damages arising from intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty by the provider. Otherwise, the provider's liability is limited to compensation for foreseeable, typical damages.

The provider assumes no liability for the professional development of participants after the completion of the courses. The courses serve for further education and do not replace individual career counseling or a guarantee for specific career outcomes.

5. Payment Terms and Withdrawal

The course fees must be paid before the course begins according to the chosen payment method. In the event of late payment, the provider reserves the right to block access to the course.

Withdrawal from the course is possible free of charge up to 14 days before the course starts. In the case of later cancellations or non-participation, the full course fee becomes due unless the participant provides a valid reason. The exact conditions are presented transparently before booking.

6. Changes and Termination

The provider reserves the right to change these terms of use at any time with effect for the future. Participants will be informed of significant changes by email. If the participant does not object within four weeks of receiving the change notification, the amended terms are deemed accepted.

The provider may terminate a participant's use of the courses without notice if the participant violates essential obligations under these terms, particularly in the event of late payment or violation of usage rights. In this case, there is no entitlement to a refund of fees already paid.
